Aint it funny how a big win makes you forget about a big loss... and vice versa? 02-13-banana

What's a K|Uck fan commenting in a thread directed to Cindy fans?

You really wanted us to lose today didn't you?

Our loss to you wasn't a big loss anymore in my book. You took care of business against the UgliesTM so Houston is A-Okay with me. I'm glad we lost to ya's. Your season turned around right after we beat the living **** out of you in Wichita. I truly believe that your coach used our team as an example of what the Coogs need to play like to reach the next level. I would bet good money that the Houston @ Wichita game has been played in front of your team more than once to get the message across of what Playing Angry can do for your post-season hopes. 04-cheers

Our only "big loss" in the AAC right now was @ Temple. We played like absolute worthless **** in that game and Temple did not play like the Temple in Wichita. I'm still gonna own the SMU loss because that team was legit when they came to Wichita. Very unfortunate for them to suffer such injury. Shake is an absolute man and could have seriously ruined a few NCAA tourney team's dreams if he would have got hot for a weekend in the Dance.

Still think Jank is a wank but I'm starting to warm to him... If he can keep up the solid recruiting for SMU he's gonna do fine. Keep signing Shake's and you'll always be a threat in this league.

Sampson may have, he's got the 3-pt shooters knocking 'em down like y'all do. He's got the Coogs playing phyical D so prolly some inspiration from cincy thrown in as well.

Well, all three teams have set the bar high for themselves this year. If we can get Uconn, Temple, Memphis and SMU back to their old selves we may rival the Big East/SEC/ACC in hoops in the next year or two.

I've had a good day, please don't bring up The Pee. That enigma makes my head hurt.

P.S. It's funny hearing you mention Sampson possibly using us as inspiration for offense. We've always been known for intensity and defense (Play Angry). Now we're known for high-powered offense? Shoot Angry? 03-lmfao It's like our entire identity has flipped from last year to this year. But I'm not going to complain because it appears offense trumps defense... at least for today.

Well, you'll have to forgive me if I hadn't payed much attention to y'all before this year - basketball wasn't exactly something us Coog fans looked forward to previously, not much reason to look outside the conference and wonder how we'd stack up since we didn't really stack up in conference.

But having watched a few of your games, your scoring is what stood out to me more than your defense. In today's game, Cincy practically hit their PPG avg, just 4 pts shy of it. Cincy held your scoring 8 pts below y'alls PPG avg, but your avg is so high that 8 pts just wasn't enough..

Anyway that's why I mentioned the scoring. 04-cheers

Offense can come and go like the wind. Defense is what must show up every game to have special seasons. Next road game I would suspect we will shoot like ****. How will we respond?

The old Shockers would just bear down like a ************ on D until the game was won throwing brick after brick and tearing rebounds out of the sky with a smile on their face. If our offense goes and we don't bring back our old defense... we very well could do something really stupid/embarrassing @ UCF or SMU because you know they're gonna be geeked up for us. One of those remaining road games will likely be a battle. I'm going to stop talking now as I'm ruining my Cincy buzz. l8r
