Two of the three most successful coaches in UNCW history (Brownell/Keatts) will face-off December 30th. Should be interesting. Two different styles that worked for us.

Keatts just beat Jacksonville by almost fifty and didn't empty the bench and was actively running the offense up until the end. Busch league move by him. I am losing respect by him more and more.

He's getting "big wins" while he can. He's gonna get pummeled when conference play starts. He's beating up on the same teams we complained about him scheduling UNCW for, honestly. Don't worry. When Duke drops that hammer on him by 20+, the State fans will be screaming for the guillotine.

I have a few friends connected to NCSU athletics, some that work directly with Keatts, and from everything I've heard he's a good guy. If I'm mad at Keatts for anything, it's the tease job he gave us the past three years. The first two months of this season have been a hard dose of reality. Keatts has some coaching flaws, but I don't think he has questionable character.

I also agree, Keatts is good people. I like him. I didn't always agree with his coaching decisions, but he was awesome for UNCW and is a good guy without a doubt.

Rooting against Keatts is a joke... Him going on to do good things at NCSU is good exposure from our program as well. I watched the game when they beat Arizona, and whenever he is brought up UNCW is mentioned. Any exposure at all is good.

NCSU is struggling. Keatts has always coached every game to the last second. He needs his guys to play hard every moment they are on the court to prepare for the ACC. I see no problem with him keeping in his starters and squeezing in every second of a game. Keatts is a winner, and he is going to find a way to win. I respect that.

Y’all are right about Keatts, he is a good guy. I was just upset after listening to us lose and then watching Keatts beat a team by almost fifty and still running the offense with his regular rotation. Just rubbed me the wrong way.

I didn't see any of his game, but I assume Keatts is trying to get certain rotations used to playing together. We're getting ready to enter to enter conference play and he just lost his starting PG.
