Bobcat Stadium right now

We're expecting snow, overnight, in the Coastal Bend. Corpus Christi is on the same latitude as Tampa Bay, so you can figure how far south we sit. They're already opening schools 2 hours late and breaking into the NFL game with weather updates. For a northerner, it's always fun to watch them go bonkers.

Used to be a guy at our church who was from Massachusetts, one Sunday the forecast had snow for the evening and he was blowing about how pathetic southerners were in the snow closing everything and we just didn't know how to drive.
Next Sunday his arm is in a sling. He had screwed his shoulder up when he spun his car into a deep ditch. Snow is no big whoop. The ice we usually have under the snow is bad news.

it all went south. no snow here in the dfw area but cold. at 25* my pool has been running since about midnight. have the heater on in the wife's greenhouse and all the hose bibs covered. probably be back above freezing by 9 or 10 tho

That's funny, I have about 1.5" and my address is Boone. Not uncommon up here.

About 2-3 inches in my yard right now and it's still coming down. It was large, wet snow last night. Right now it's almost a mist. I am not a happy camper.
This will likely all disappear by the end of the day as it is supposed to go up to about 55.
