Which isn't good enough. I like Lunsford and between the others mentioned to be interviewed I think this is the best pick (IMO). BUT the A.D. is already sitting on the fryer and his butt is being burnt. I think a lot of fans just don't like him personally and feel he has underperformed with some coaching hires and with football scheduling. I'm actually fine with almost everything he's done so far, except the Summers hire (that one was just dumb, he must of believed any monkey could've come to GS and win 7+ games).
IF we don't win 7+ next year in football, win at least a couple conference championships and announce a P5 home and home (fans really want a P5 home game) then his butt is going to continue to fry.
I had a feeling this may happen by how the A.D. reacted after the UL game. He actually was smiling and jumping around Lunsford like a kid who got their perfect Christmas present.

Chad has done a good job making a dumpster fire look like a mediocre football team. He's earned a chance to prove himself. Chad - and TK - know that 6 wins don't cut it at GS.

Man there are some upset fans on GSUfans.com. There is no safe hire for TK to make. at least 1/3 of the fans will be mad at whoever it is. Heck we could hire Saban and fans would be pissed.

I haven't been following the boards, but this is definitely not what this Southern fan wanted. In fact, this is exactly what he feared would happen.
