I'm torn on this one. I hate Georgia so I want to see them go down but to have App do it before we do would leave such a bitter taste. Can't you guys just play for a tie?

I "hate" App, I "HATE" uga. I love seeing G5 wins over P5 as well and it helps conference perception and rank which equates to real dollars at the end of the year. thUGA does nothing to help GS directly or indirectly App winning does.

I have a close group of friends who are all SEC guys and I've been trying to tell them that App will not be a pushover. In fact, I spent so much time explaining to them about App's program that I found myself disgusted a bit that I knew so much about App's program. Excuse me while I go take a bath in bleach.

If App's defensive front can keep Nick Chubb in check without selling out on the run the game won't get out of hand. I think the App secondary can handle the UGA receivers.

UGA's linebackers are going to create a big problem for those stretch plays, though. They might be the best in the SEC.

The first half may have decent ratings. Most people will be taking a break from UF - Michigan to holdover until FSU - Alabama.

Either way, it will be interesting. ESPN, opening night, versus UGA, is a big deal. I don't know of any other team aside from Boise State in the G5 to get that time slot.

sorry, I just can't put for App in this one. I know about it helping the conference, but to have App beat UGA before us would just suck. If we had beat GT and UGA a couple years ago then I'd be more ok with the concept.

But to be a team player I will pull for App only if GS also wins and then GS beats App this season.

We might just find out which one is better at humpin. Which one will it be the Hillbillies or the Dogs.
