Sorry to see the passing of Dean Ehlers yesterday. Coach and first JMU AD, and founding member and first president of the CAA.
Tribe players have become a mainstay for the Dean Ehlers Leadership Award, with David Schneider, Quinn McDowell (twice), Tim Rusthoven, and Tom Schalk getting the annual award in recent years. Kyra Kaylor was the first Tribe player to win it, male or female, back in 2008. Lindsey Moller was the 2nd Tribe women's player in 2011.
