I'd take Iowa Pre-Flight and the points against us

Great. One more thing for JMU fans to be annoyed by

Figured, a bunch of Ivy League and PL schools who benefited from decades of privlege post-WW2.

JMU fans will point to their relative infancy compared to the U Penns and W&Ms of college football.

They're confused by this idea of football starting in 1936. Football was invented by Mickey Matthews in 2004.

We move up to #87 using the CFN system of analyzing the AP rankings. UVA just ahead at 75, Iowa Pre-Flight at 83, Nova at 84, March Field (who was only around in 1943-1944) at 88, and Delaware tied for 122.

Much of our placing in the Top 100 based on the great, major football W&M teams of 1939-42 and 1946-50.
