I could be wrong but isn’t that 3 non DI games with JWU, N.C Wesleyan, and Emory and Henry.?

That is American capitalism at its finest. Bringing in the basketball crowd the night before they host Florida State in football.
A national championship has opened revenue streams far beyond what JMU can dream of. Looking at the details of pricing they will probably collect more in one night than JMU collects all year.

Charlottesville's businesses will be making BANK that weekend.

Smart move by UVA. Doing it in mid-September also provides opportunity for their now-NBA guys to be present with no conflicts with their NBA schedules they likely would have to deal with in November.

No surprise, same as last year, but Mason's non-A10 schedule was released yesterday and their home game with us on Nov. 16 is listed to be streamed via ESPN+.

Sat in some prime seats in the middle of their boosters last year. They were civil, but a bit arrogant and boastful. Hope this is the year we can shut them up and send them home sulking. Their coach really got LR pissed last year, made me wonder if the series will continue.

Yep. The Dukes in MBB have played W&M 98 times, which is the most played opponent for us. Mason is in a close 2nd at 94. With Mason's victory last year the all-times series is now at a deadlock of 47-47. This is a series that needs to keep going IMO - especially for our fans in the DC area.

The Dukes are an amazingly awful 3-22 against Mason in our last 25 games going back to 2005. 01-lauramac2

Which shows just how much we owned them prior to that (44-25). Some of us remember when mason was a school we rarely lost to, and want to see the tables flip again. Losing to Mason feels like bizarro world, even after the past 15 years.

Delaware schedule released (post 2 updated). They have Bridgewater on their schedule.

RE: Future MBB Schedule - JMU_Degenerate - 08-07-2019 03:46 PM

Have not seen much on Elon's schedule other than what I have in post 2, but look at the three opponents they are confirmed to be playing:
@ North Carolina
@ Georgia Tech
@ Michigan

Random observation regarding the MBB schedule...

...I notice the tip time for our homer vs Shenandoah has been moved up an hour from originally announced at 5pm to now listed as 4pm. WBB Dukes host Maryland afterwards that day.

It is great to see the men and women are on the same scheduling philosophy. Shenandoah = Maryland. 03-lmfao

edit note: based on Delaware being a travel "partner" with Drexel and Elon the same with W&M, we can safely assume these games will be set once released from your list above...

Jan. 9, Thu, home vs Delaware
Jan. 25, Sat, at Elon
Feb. 8, Sat, at Delaware
Feb. 20, Thu, home vs Elon

That's what I had deduced too since Delaware plays Northeastern on 1/25 and 2/20 and Elon plays Charleston 1/9 and 2/8

Dukes first two conference games this year are home vs. Hofstra and Northeastern. I don't think either team will be as strong as in recent years but both are solid programs that should compete for the top of the CAA again. Nice to have them home to start and on the road to end this season. After that road at UNCW and Charleston so a good start to conference play will be key for the Dukes in a make or break season for the team.
