Feel free to make corrections and fill in any blanks. I know the Cajuns had a number of at-large bids but was too lazy to do the research.

App has never had any at-large appearances, although we came close in 2007. Only tourney bids were 1979 and 2000.

There was this one time that one of our players hit a big three-pointer and his dad, who was also his coach, fell out of his chair. You should work that into the numbers somehow.

Try 1992 .... last year's championship game result makes it even that much worse ....

USA's last appearance in 2008 was as an at large. USA also gained at large bids in 1979 and 1980.

I still say that '07 NIT team was App's best since I started following App hoops in'94. And the win at VCU that year was the best basketball game I've ever seen in person.

The Cajuns had at large bids in 1972 1973 and 1984. Would have had one in 1994 had they not won the SBC tournament.

Little Rock has never had an at-large bid. We have won 3 TAAC conference tournaments and one Sun Belt tournament- all were played in the State of Arkansas.

If you go through the Wikipedia page, you can get most of the data (or figure it out).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Tournament_bids_by_school

ie ULM's appearances were all Autobids.

Officially, UL-L only has 6 appearances, since 4 of the appearances have been wiped from the record books.

You can take away records but you can't take back the memories.

Yeah, like the 1994 Sweet Sixteen round. Man, that was great. Except it never really happened even though New Mexico State had to vacate their win over the Cajuns in the round of 32.

You couldn't count Sweet 16 anyway. They vacated, not forfeited. You still lose, they just don't win.

Last time TXST made an appearance Jeff Foster was on the team. He retired from the NBA (in 2012) after 13 seasons. That's how long it's been. One of those guys had a nice NBA career and packed it in since. Another player from that team (Donte Mathis '99) had a 13 year professional career in Italy and retired in 2013.

Sad, really.

So the Tulane fans hoping to get a New Orleans Bowl victory out of our ACT fiasco are SOL?

I am actively seeking recruiting violations in the following football programs and years:

Charlotte, 2015
Liberty, 2015
A bunch of FCS schools, 2011-2013
Lambuth, 2010

Unfortunately we're 0-7 (closest was a 7-point loss to Iowa) but it's been a while since the last one. We've also gone to two NIT's. And, of course, the big run last year.

No NCAA at-large bids.
