Texas State @ Houston discussion - Farmer Jack - 09-21-2015 01:03 PM

Tyler Jones is a talented qb but I dont think Texas State has enough to stop UH. So I think the game will be competitive until UH pulls away.

Are you on ESPN?

I think you should be on ESPN . . . .

That's the kind of hard hitting college game analysis that the 4 letter is currently missing. . . . . . .

YOU should be on ESPN . . . . . 07-coffee3

I think Houston has a good team, but their level of "goodness" is slightly less than Texas State's level of "goodness." I think this is most evidenced by both teams' performances this season.

I think if Houston can get some first downs, they will have a better shot by keeping Texas State's offense off the field. But ultimately, Texas State's offense is going to score points. And scoring points wins the game.

It's going to be a shootout.

I'll say whoever scores last wins.

I'll also say whoever scores more, wins. I feel more confident in this one than my previous prediction.

I really think that depends. Which ever defense is effective in putting pressure on the opposing team's QB could limit the other team's scoring.

Disrupting the quarterback's rhythm can really create issues for the efficiency of the offense, leading to less points scored, and loss on the record books.

I'm not sure you have been watching both teams.

I can find pictures that show old Robertson less than full.

However, game attendance has nothing, whatsoever, to do with tubing.

As someone who lives in Houston, but has no allegiance to either school, I can tell you that I see more Texas State apparel and fan support in the area than UH.

Again, coming from a fan and alumnus of Coastal Carolina University and having no allegiance to either school, my experience has been that there is a bigger Texas State contingency in UH's own city.

Houston is an early 15 point favorite in Vegas. Their win at Louisville 34-31 was impressive. They had a bye last week, so they get two weeks to prepare for this game. I hope I am wrong, but I think this game could get ugly.

That's such a blatant lie that its not even funny. Why is an FCS fan even posting here? Did I miss something?
