UNCW soccer.... - SEA33HAWK - 11-21-2014 11:57 AM

Hawks defeat Bucknell 2-0 in the first round of the NCAA's. On to UVA!!!!

It was a little scary for awhile. I mean we were dominating on the field, but could not score. We had 16 shots on goal to their one before we scored our first goal.

Good crowd as well. Lot's of good stuff happening on the soccer front, with some potentially great news on facilities. The AD is really looking at soccer to create that fall atmosphere we miss without football. With greatly improved facilities, some tailgating and the potential to succeed at a national level, soccer fits the culture at UNCW. The thought is we could truly become a national power.

I would prefer they invest in baseball myself.

It's not an either/or situation. Baseball is of course a premier sport at UNCW.

Did somebody say tailgating?

Some of us tailgate already before baseball games.

Once again getting tired of sit at home critics.
