Last night on his Around the Mountain radio spot David Jackson said App will announce a home & home arrangement with someone "the Black & Gold has a history with". Interesting he didn't a football history with.

They gotta give better hints than that. Our AD told us AState was signing a home and home with one of the biggest brands in college football, a team with five national championships.
Didn't take long to figure out that was Miami.

I presume Marshall...no big deal to me if that's true. They don't move my needle one bit. At least they win more than Wake Forest.

Next best case - ECU
Best case for my wife - Hawaii
More likely - Marshall, UMass, WKU, MTSU, teams we played while 1-AA in conference or in the playoffs.
If it's someone else they are stretching the hint of history with. Such a tease.
Perhaps GT and Bobby Cremins?

You must not have been at our Marshall games in the 90's. They were some of the best App games I've ever been to. I'm excited we are finally getting some schedules our fans can get excited about. Besides, ANY home game with an FBS opponent beats an FCS team.

If it is Marshall, you have some time to retool to FBS players to give you a more level playing field.

Worst case, FIU where Satt was OC. I don't mind a home and home with them, but no need to tease the fanbase for that.

Wake, ECU, and Marshall are the only FBS teams I'd say App "has a history with" - unless perhaps he means Michigan.
