Looks like a good hire-- a good energetic young coach. She has some time at Ga. Southern as an assistant 8-10 years ago so she must be good :)

Word is she came into the mix late and got the job over some other good current D1 coaches.

She looks like a good young coach. The only question would be lack of head coaching experience, which is a totally different deal than an assistant. I don't know Troy's staffing, but if the head coach is in charge of all facets of program there is more to do off the field than on than one person can possibly imagine. I wish her the best of luck as you can never have too many good coaches in the conference. The Cajuns RPI has greatly benefited by the improvement of the Jaguar and Hilltopper softball programs, so I say the more successful teams the better!
