Troy football player Jadarius Garner died last night. Garner appeared in all 12 games in '13. Recorded 21 tackles, 7 TFLs and 3 sacks.

An unreal time for the Trojan Nation. We lost a football player last year due to a heart attack. Everyone loved the guy.
Similar thoughts from our players on Gardner this morning.
This news comes alongside the news of a grayshirt that was going to play football for Troy, but shot an killed a Troy freshman girl on New Years Day.
A different football player was arrested in December also on murder charges.
This new year, instead of a resolution, I'll think more about how fragile life is.

Allen Muse of AState was just lucky that his physical happened to be done by the cardiologist who works with the team instead of one of the ortho guys.

Troy, I can't imagine what you guys are going through. I'm at a loss for words. I don't presume to speak for all of Blazer Nation, but I for one cannot express how sorry I am for what you guys are going through. This is a terribly sad time for the Trojan faithful.
