Announce how much you need and when you need it by (to get started and fully fund all your sports would be less than $10 million). Georgia State has seen its booster club go from 230 members and $32,000 in support to 1,200 members and $600,000 in the three years since deciding to play football."

The increase is more than that and due entirely to season ticket sales in the PAC section. Not increased donors. I want out of this conference on the grounds that fjag is nuts.

As far I'm concerned about FGCU in the Sun Belt, here's how I'd put it.
FGCU: We'd like to join the Sun Belt
Me: Hey, FGCU (and Kennesaw), what do you call it if I give you 5 dollars and then I ask for my 5 dollars back in 4 weeks?
