Where's Tallgrass? - UConn-SMU - 04-12-2013 09:05 PM

Should we send out a search party?

I really miss the childish rants against the Big East/AAC.

Suicide.

The New Big East did not whither off and die like he hoped and Tulsa joined it.

In the army we had people in basic training who were suicidal cause they couldn't handle basic training, they had to walk around everywhere with a bright orange reflective traffic vest. My guess is tall is wearing an orange vest right now.

So, once he has finished his mourning period, will he come back AS Tallgrass, or duck the needling by coming back under a different handle?

He's been very very quite, must be hunting wabit (Elmer Fudd)

BTW UConn fans congrats on the Women getting their 8th National Championship. Despite the changes the AAC will still be loaded with hoops talent next year as it was this year. What a season for the BE, 2 in the Men's Final 4 and 3 in the Women's Final 4. Plus excellent bowl performances by Lville, Syracuse, and Cincy. 04-jawdrop

Does any other AAC school have a so-called fan of their school that would argue against your school moving up in conferences & go silent when you did move up ?

I know zero Tulsa fans like this. That is why I call this reason # 125 that he is not a real Tulsa fan. Tulsa fans are either thrilled or relieved with our move.

Some OSU fans, who don't want a strong Tulsa program to threaten their #2 spot in Oklahoma, would prefer Tulsa stay at a lower level in CUSA. ( BTW, OSU leads the football series with Tulsa 39-28-5 ). I do think the recent huge improvement of facilities @ OSU , led by T-Boone Pickens & the huge increase in TV money for OSU should alleviate those old concerns. OU fans have never shared these concerns, but OU has dominated both the OU-TU (17-7-1) & OU-OSU (83-17-7) football series.

I have said for a long time that Tallgrass's comments mirror comments of OSU fans I know. These latest actions are more of the same.

Talk to us Tallgrass.... it takes all of us to create discussion here. Come forth from the depths and appear to us...

I bet he's on that wagon train to Manhattan for the big AAC party.03-lmfao

Including message-board comments, face-to-face conversation, and hearsay information shared by friends, I would guess that I have heard from about 300 or so fans (combined) of ECU, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, and UCF over the last couple of years about conference realignment. So far, Trollgrass is the only one who I have heard express the opinion/wish that "his" school stay in the league it was in, and reject an invite from the Big East/American. I put the word "his" in quotation marks because I do not necessarily believe that Trollgrass is a Tulsa fan in the first place, for the reasons outlined by Tulsafanzz.

With trolls it's always obvious who they're against. But it's not always obvious who they're for.

Good point.

Maybe he realized that spending all of his time trolling people is not constructive. I wish more people would learn this lesson.
