OB NIU OFFENSIVE GAME PLAN - thxjoenovak - 01-01-2013 11:29 AM

My guess is FSU is going to stack the box, shadow JL and make us beat them through the air.

If I was OC for a day.....

-Need to open things up on the first 2 series and throw one 50 yds downfield to loosen things up.

-Must use play-action with JL taking that short step up likes he's running and then throw.

-Use the TE's that should be open on play-action.

-I'm sure we've got a trick play or two for today. Which one of our WR's are best at throwing down field? Perez?

-In summary, we need to be aggressive and I hope we go all out offensively.

Crap....still 9 hours til kickoff03-weeping....I'm ready now!04-rock

No doubt they will be keying on Lynch. I don't know if our OL can open up some holes if they do stack the box. You are a right about throwing downfield to open things up a bit. We will need lots of play-action, misdirection/counter and more than a few trick plays for us to have a shot at this. One thing for sure, we will not see a conservative game plan like what we saw against Iowa.

Da'ron Brown is the WR that will throw, I think you'll see it once.
