"There are seven teams currently slated in the WAC this fall in football: Idaho, New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech, Utah State, San Jose State, Texas San Antonio and Texas State. Louisana Tech and UTSA are headed to Conference USA after this season, Utah State and San Jose State will move to the Mountain West and Texas State will go to the Sun Belt."

I'm very happy with this, more so than GA State, no offense. Texas State will be a good replacement for UNT.

We are getting over our recent depression called conference realignment. We are happy to have a home in the Sunbelt. We have just expanded Bobcat Stadium to open the 2012 season. We will have Texas Tech in to open the newly expanded stadium.on September 8th.

I think you will find the Sun Belt, and our fans accomodating (most of the time).

Texas State Bobcat Fan here! I'm exhausted and ready to see this alignment stuff end. Looking forward to watching my team compete in the Sunbelt, plus ready to show everyone what San Marcos a.k.a. San Marvelous is all about. Whoever lands an away game in Texas should definitely mark that visit down on the to do list in 2013; you will have a ball I promise.

Texas State had averaged over 15,100 in the stands in our first FBS transition year ( 2011) playing a Southland schedule. The new expansion is moving capacity to 30,000. We will have need for every seat of the 30,000 when we open against Texas Tech in San Marcos September 8th

If Louisiana would fix their stretch of I-10, it wouldn't be such a hard road trip to sell to the wife.

I plan to make a USA game at least once. Drive to Destin, FL a week before, stay with some family and then swing through Mobile on the way home.

Heck, ill be rooting for them this whole season since they won't be playing Troy or anyone from the Belt. Make a statement to the schools going to the MWC & CUSA over there that the Sunbelt is on the rise along with...Texas State!
Great way for you guys to get good exposure if you do well in the dying conference. Y'all have the perfect opportunity too do great.
