The rumor is that you guys may be coming to Mobile in 2012. If that is the case, I think we get 30k in the stands with no problem. I feel that we will take some lumps in the first few years, but overall this is going to be a good rivalry.

I agree. I can see the game being in Mobile. Troy already has Navy and Mississippi State at home.

Both stadiums should sell out for the (soon to be named) rivalry game between Troy and South. We had a HUGE crowd at UAB last season. It helps that Troy and Mobile aren't that far from each other. So I don't see any reason why Veterans Memorial or Ladd-Pebbles wouldn't sell out. We already have rivalries in basketball/baseball and both schools have great attendance when the other team is in town. That should translate over to football. The next few years will be really interesting between South and Troy. Good luck next season! 04-rock

You never know. In 2014 we are hosting Mississippi State and Navy and probably Troy as well, if the series begins next year with Troy coming to Mobile.

I think the Cajuns and USA will be big to, Mobile is only 5 hours from Lafayette. I can't wait to go to Mobile to see the Cajuns play..
