Rand Paul's first entire Senate to 1 vote - georgia_tech_swagger - 02-07-2011 11:45 AM

A new law to make it illegal to aim laser pointers at airplanes.

Result: 96 to 1.

Along with Rubio from Florida, Rand Paul is quickly emerging as the leading candidate for "rookie-of-the-year" in Congress.

I greatly enjoyed his victory in Kentucky last year, and look forward to watching him stir the pot in the Senate for a good long while to come.

Good for Paul.

Obviously, this has been going on for years. And as the article stated, the states already have laws in place against this.

Now, here a little factoid that points to a bigger problem. Several years ago I heard Paul Harvey discussing this on his radio show. He made the statement, "dozens of these terrorist attacks have gone on in the past few months."

Ok, want to panic the senior citizens? Have Paul Harvey tell them that every one of these pranks is a terrorist attack. I was disgusted. I still am.
