I thought A-State had more then ULM in talent. The 241 yards rushing was big for ASU tonight. But they made way too many penalties; they need to clean those up to have a shot against Troy next weekend.

23,176 watched stAte improve on its 411 yards per game average with a 474 yard performance. Weird, isn't it?

ASU contiunes to be Jeykl & Hyde under Roberts.

The crowd looked good on video.

That would be true; I do not think Roberts even cares if he wins on the road . . . he really needs to go !!! 04-chairshot

They're gonna get that freshman qb hurt if the o line wont protect him.

Most of those QB keepers did not look like they were scripted but I also saw that stAte did not adjust well to it.

Was this game on Espn 3 in louisiana. Because it was blacked out in Arkansas. I don't understand why?

RE: why no ulm/stAte thread? - AstroCajun - 09-18-2010 11:38 PM

It was televised on Cox cable in Louisiana.

Glad that you got to see it. I was hoping to catch it on Espn 3.

ASU has more talent than two of the three teams they have played this year and are 1-2 because they are very undisplined as a team.

The good thing is their new OC, Huge Freeze, is the best hire in forever in football at ASU and they may not need much of a "D" to win games.

Another good thing for ASU is there are still a few "difference makers" that have yet to make it on the field this season.

Hmm, I would say that's a matter of opinion. I surely didn't see more talent on your defensive side of the ball. After last night's game, I see no need to even debate that fact. Good luck next week.

ASU has more talent then ULM. But we had either equal or worse talent then ULL and will have nowhere near the talent of Troy or Middle and probably FIU

our defense is BAAAD

I agree with your statement. I think you can bunch UL, ASU, FIU and FAU in the same pack right now. NT has just had so many injuries, it's really hard to measure them right now.

I was quite pleased with the crowd. Despite and 0-2 start and a horrible performance against the Ragin Cajuns...at least the first 3 quarters, I didn't think we would break 20K.

Our offense came out HOT and the crowd got into it. ULM settled down late in the 2nd quarter and early 3rd quarter and started making a game of it.

I'll tell y'all that ASU fans are starving for success and if we could ever get over the 6 win hump I think ASU fans would come out in droves.

The ULM game gave me a glimmer of hope for this year but Troy looms this week. Maybe we can slip into Troy and steal one from them but it may be tough since they suffered a heart breaker to UAB. Here's to a good game.

Ya'll beat Monroe because you were clearly better that night.

However, watching the game, it just appeared to me that stAte did nothing to adjust to Browning's scrambling which kept just about all of their drives alive.

I think we can beat anyone in our conference at Jonesboro. But on the road in the SBC, we're a totally different team. We play great against AQ teams, and fall apart at ULL....every year.
I'll never understand it.
