SBC is the #4 RPI team right now according to Warren Nolan, even with UNO's 1-5 record. Was hoping UNO would go out with a bang, but maybe not. That Ryan dude has pretty much ruined their once-proud athletics program.
SBC 37-19 overall, if I added it up correctly.

ASU 4 Wisconsin Milwaukee 3 10 inn Game 1 doubleheader. ASU wins on some smart baserunning on a UWM error in the 10th.
ASU 11 Wisconsin Milwaukee 4 Game 2 doubleheader Murray Watts Giovanni Garcia and Josh DeMoney all homer
our bullpen has been stellar so far. we've gone several deep out there and no one has really run into serious trouble yet

MT swept Ohio U today 14-6. MT now 4-1 on the year. On the road now for several games, including SIU of the MVC.

ASU complets the 4 game sweep of Wisconsin Milwaukee with an 8-3 victory. Jacob Lee allows just 2 runs in 5 innings to get the win and Drew Benes managed to allow 8 hits in 2 innings and not give up one single run because he kept striking hitters out once everyone got on base
ASU is now 6-1 on the year and takes the midweek off as it prepares for a 5 games in 5 days stretch with a 3 game home set with Portland next week

As mentioned FIU is now 6-0 on the season and now heads out to a tournament at Arizona State, where they will play: Utah Valley, UC-Riverside, Cal Poly and 2009 College World Series participant Arizona State.
Going to be an interesting weekend to say the least.....

WKU has, by far, been the most impressive team so far. Going into Texas and sweeping three from them (Tx A&M, Tx St. and Baylor) tells me they've got a solid pitching staff.

So far that has been the difference. We don't have as much power at the plate but maybe the pitching can carry the team through a tough slate. The league looks real good overall so far. The top 6 teams, at this juncture, are a combined 32-5.
