Hempstead, N.Y. - Sophomore guard Kendrix Brown came up with a pair of huge plays in the final minute, including the game-winning 3-point play, as the William and Mary men's basketball team gutted out a 48-47 victory at Hofstra on Saturday afternoon. The Green and Gold won its school-record tying 10th straight game as the College is off to the second-best start in school history at 10-2. The start is the best for W&M since 1948-49, and the Tribe improved to 2-0 in the CAA for the first time since 1997-98. Hofstra fell to 8-6 overall and 1-1 in league play.
