It was the 2,000th win in the storied history of the Wildcats’ program, making Kentucky the first school to reach that milestone The Wildcats, who remained undefeated at 12-0, controlled play throughout the game and showed an ESPNU audience why they are ranked third in the country. Kentucky shot 56 percent from the field, was 5-for-7 from deep and perfect on 13 free throw attempts in the opening 20 minutes en route to a 56-20 lead. DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall each had 14 points in the half, with Cousins adding seven boards. Drexel managed just nine field goals and was outrebounded 27-10 by the much bigger Wildcats.
