As a family friend of Fresh QB Alex Beierwalter, I was very excited to see he was invited to travel with the team because he was elected practice player of the week( running the show team offense). Thanks to Big Ten Network I saw him holding a clipboard on the sideline. It looks he will red shirted which is fine with us with Andy Schmitt doing fine as a play caller. It was a great experience for him. Does anyone know if the team or the coaches vote on this type deal and where I might find an weekly record of the awards for all the players. I saw the awards for '07 in the media guide but have not seen any for the current year. Good Luck Eagles and you guys cheer your ass off.

Go to the EMU athletic page and then hit football and then hit complete game day notes as the season progresses and the weekly awards are listed.
