* Jake Kuresa, a 6' 4", 330-pound (now 345) redshirt freshman, was a Top 100 national recruit and a Student Sports Magazine All-American as a junior and senior. Huge things are expected out of the 330-pound star-in-the-making. He was a top defensive line prospect before moving over to the offensive side. He has good athleticism for a player of his size with a great ability at finishing off his blocks. Jake ran a 4.9 forty yesterday. It is astonishing how fast these guys are that carry so much weight.

"BYU offered Deuce (Taitusi) a scholarship today. They emailed him and made him an offer trying to get him to commit. Some other schools have offered, but they haven't put it down on paper yet."
Lutui originally signed with Utah out of high school, but was not academically eligible. He opted to attend Mesa Community College in Arizona during his freshman year. He is also being aggressively recruited by South Carolina, Nebraska, Arizona State, Washington and a number of other colleges.
At 6' 6", 375-pounds with a 5.1 forty, Lutui has excellent athleticism for a player his size. His brother Sam, an experienced talent evaluator of offensive lineman, said his younger-but-bigger brother can do things no other linemen can do.
Comparing younger brother Taitusi to Utah's Jordan Gross, the 8th player drafted drafted overall in the first round in the NFL, Sam observed: "Gross is 6' 4" and 300 pounds and was timed a 5.06 in the forty with a 30 inch vertical leap. That's pretty impressive, but Deuce is 6' 6", 375-pounds and runs the forty in 5.1 with a 26 inch vertical."

If his 4.31 40 time is any indication of good football skills beyond pure running speed, little-known Bo Herbert will attract a whole slew of new recruiting attention to Brigham City, Utah, this coming fall.
Already, the 6-3, 208-pound wide receiver/running back/defensive back prospect has been contacted by Nebraska, BYU and Utah
