Where should the ACC Championship Game Be? - georgia_tech_swagger - 07-01-2007 04:37 PM

I'm all for Charlotte. It seems the ACC CG loser is doomed to appear in the Gator right back in Jax every year. And let's face it ... there's just not alot to do in Jacksonville. Charlotte is located centrally. Within a reasonable drive for at least 8 of the teams in the conference. Best of all -- it's barely an hour drive for me! 03-yes

Atlanta is probably out of the question due to the SEC having it.

Personally, I would prefer Baltimore or Boston. That way you could make a true vacation out of it. Baltimore is close to being a central location, and has D.C. among other things to do up there.

But I agree, Charlotte would be MUCH better than Jacksonville.

JAX is not supposed to get the ACC CG loser... it just keeps happening.

Charlotte is too damn cold in December!

Baltimore seems like a great way to get your car stolen.
Charlotte is only like 4 or 5 hours from Jax ... a fair amount of that drive being easterly. How can it possibly be that much colder?

If I remember correctly, you don't drive anything worth stealing. 03-wink
