SBC tourney favorite has to be Louisiana, since they beat Tops at Diddle this year.

After that, I'd say
-WKU, home floor advantage. Tops are 13-5 after 1-6 start, but nevertheless have been inconsistent, a bit of Dr. Jeckyl, Mr. Hyde thing.
-Middle, played WKU tough in Diddle, played UALR better than WKU at Alltel
-UALR, my darkhorse favorite. Solid D, style of play might be more suited to tourney play.
-ASU, too inconsistent, somewhat like WKU but without homecourt help
-Denver, N. Texas - Love Denver's grit, N. Texas' talent.
-Almost forgot New Orleans. Haven't seen them play, but obviously they are a strong threat. Might be a little angry after the FIU debacle.

Louisiana is best team, and if they play to their potential, game's over, unless Diddle crowd can carry Toppers through.

Can't really disagree with anything you've said TopperTalk. Louisiana is definitely the team to beat, which is pretty hard to do. They seem to do a better job beating themselves down the stretch.

ULAR has just quietly stayed in there. I like their chances too.

If WKU can pull some consistancy together, they could be unstopable at Diddle.

Here's a hint. Make us make decisions. Press us. We will turn it over.
On your perimeter defense, forget about Boyd. He's washed up. Concentrate on Landry and Greene. that's the secret.

If WKU meets UL in the final, I fully expect the Toppers to win it.

If there's one thing I can not stand, it's dumb basketball. We play dumb basketball. :bang:

One thing is for sure, Louisiana won't have the shooting night that they did the first time in Diddle. That was crazy. Put your shooting percentage at your average and we would have won. A rematch would definitely be exciting. Win or lose, I'd like to see that.

Man, oh man, oh man oh man! Me and ALL of the Trojan fans wish sooo bad that we could just buy out our last year in the setting sun conference and come on in with you guys.

I think I'd have to pick the Cajuns right now, but I think the Sunbelt tourney is going to be wild and wacky! Whoever wins, me and the rest of the Trojan nation will be pulling for our future conference brothers to Bust some Brackets!

Hello Tojan guy.

I really think the SUN BELT's best days are right around the corner. Really looking forward to seeing y'all at Cajun Field.

While we have had a good season and are probably the favorite going into the tourney, we do not seem to play well in the conference tourney. I can only hope that some of our new guys (Greene, Hamilton, Mitchell) will step up and not let past history repeat itself. If I had to say another team to win besides us it would be very tough to pick between the following 4: UALR, New Orleans, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

I predict that Ul has to be the odd's on Favorite to win the Tourney , but don't count out the Topper's just yet...... 04-bow

I'd put my money on the Cajuns. We really play well against SBC teams (except Denver :D ) at Diddle. It will be some tough games for each squad. There will be plenty of upsets at Diddle. Maybe WKU will fall early on. Who knows?

GEAUX CJAUNS!!!
