Statistically speaking, Arkansas State’s offense enjoyed one of its best opening games in several years last Saturday.
ASU produced 438 total yards in a 52-20 loss at 19th-ranked Missouri, registering its best season-opening yardage total since moving to Division I-A in 1992. The last time the Indians finished with more yards in a season-opening game was 1983, when they rolled up 505 against Tennessee-Martin.

Yes, our offense appears to be the 'real deal'; our starting QB left the team just before the season started. He was not the QB for our system; Noce and Hollins seem to be the guys to make it happen. Our defense is extremely young (mostly freshmen), but will get better as the season progresses. This team is very different from last year's team; do not take them lightly or . . .

If we could do that against a Top 25 team, think what we can do against our SBC conference mates, if we come out of the Tiger series healthy (Mizzou, LSU, and Memphis) plus Ole Miss. LOL!!!

Go stAte!!!
Go SBC Football!!!
