- MrBucko5 - 07-29-2002 12:03 PM I would say that I'm one of the biggest fans of this school. I love attending Eastern. But I also understand why it doesn't get much support. See, Eastern is a commuter school. Commuter schools don't get support from their peers because it's usually the residents who support the teams, and our residents don't have a big number. There's a school by my home town (Wright State) and it doesn't get any support though it has a good athletic program. Eastern is a great school for those of you who are mocking it. To the Eastern fans, I'll see you at all the games! - rocketfootball - 07-29-2002 01:56 PM Nice to have you aboard MrBucko5! You may very well be right about Eastern's fan base. I live in the Toledo area and know several people that commute to EMU. - Roberto Gato - 07-30-2002 09:15 PM Interesting. I had no idea there were so many commuters to EMU. I was at your record breaking (at the time) '95 homecoming game where you guys had ~26K. Beat the 'Cats in Grobie's first season. Was a fun trip nonetheless. - SON OF CHIPPEWA ENEMA - 08-07-2002 01:12 PM Oh, I'm sorry, I must be in the wrong room. The sign on the door said, "HURONate on Eastern" and I just assumed that this was......well.......okay, I'll keep looking. <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" /> |
