Mercer and JMU are either better or historically better programs in better areas of the country than Martin or Morehead (no offense). Honestly, this might make us the favorites next year if we retain most of the team and/or add good pieces from the portal.

Looking at the Transfer Portal, so far, and the coaching changes we might be in good shape in next year's OVC. Having a coach, who I believe wants to stay in Little Rock, may turn out to be a good thing after all.
