Let's face it, Texas' departure from the Big 12 will leave a gaping hole in the Big 12 and will be hard to fill. Austin is a large, growing market that we need desperately.

That's why I propose adding Huston-Tillotson. It keeps us in Austin and adds another Texas school for recruiting. It's as obvious as the sun.

And what is so wrong with being a commuter school? Going to a commuter school allowed me to become a CPA/CFO and become a millionaire many times over. Many of my fellow classmates did the same. UC no longer is so much a commuter campus but lucky for me and others it once was.

My daughter graduated from a college in a typical college town. But her education was no better.

did I say that there is anything wrong with a commuter school? No I did not.

I simply implied that if they're commuting anyway, might as well commute to Austin, it would likely be a shorter trip anyway with traffic.
