A lot of our fans were outraged when he did it

I was never impressed by anyone who hotdogs it after making a 3 and not getting back on defense.

When did that happen? He was probably the best defender we had for his 3 years here. I can remember Lorenzen Wright flexing and yelling after an alley oop dunk numerous times and getting beat back on defense by Samaki Walker and Danny Fortson. But we were ok with that and retired his jersey

Lester was a pretty good defender when he wasn't coming off of a made 3.

A half-second showtime move after making a 3 is often the difference between getting back on defense or not at the D1 level.
