Lots of basketball history when these two programs tip it off tonight. San Francisco won back-to-back national titles in '55 and '56. Cincinnati barely missed a three-peat in '63 after also winning back-to-back.

I'm hoping UC has matured sufficiently as a team to take care of business at Fifth Third. I'd be a little crazy not to suggest it will be close, based upon UC's body of work the past few months. Watching other NIT games last night, most were very competitive.

Here's hoping the Bearcats find a way to advance and play on this weekend at home. History has sometimes shown that a deep run by an emerging team in the NIT can precede a successful run in the NCAA the next season. That's my hope for the Bearcats.

I didn't end up going to as many games this year as I had wanted to, so tonight with cheap tickets seemed like a good idea.
Cheaper tickets than a few of the dog games I paid more to see back in December.

Wish i could go to the game tonight. I have been so busy this week with work and rushing to get my daughter from her spring break camp. I should have taken off work this week.

Next week if the first week of the tournament and my daughters spring break are at the same time i am definitely taking the week off.

I wish I could attend the game, but I will be rooting for the Bearcats from my apartment.

Oh crap, now I don't know how to bet this one. Should I follow my gut (UC -7.5) or trust the process (fade Billy)?

Looks like Vik is available, not on the far end of the bench in the "injured section" tonight.

Not an ideal start. I thought UC looked out of sorts vs the zone and got lost on defense.

Of course Bandaogo gets whistled for a foul a minute in. The question is, why did the refs even wait for the game to start to give him his first foul.

Gotta get through that Martino's bar tab.

There are times I wish UC would pay Reynolds to go back into the portal

Reynolds is really exerting himself tonight!

Career 30% three point shooter is 3/3 from 3 in the half for our opponent...sounds about right.

I see USF is enjoying the UC three point shooting blessing.
