RE: 2024 NCAA Tournament Discussion
Hinkle is worth a watch for any basketball fans. But no I will not be going. Wednesday is a busy day for my kids activities. Otherwise, id definitely go and support Denise. I am still recovering from Austin and our traveling around the midwest for their spring break

RE: 2024 NCAA Tournament Discussion
that nit final last night was a barn burner. i don't think i've ever said that before. it worked out having the game in indianapolis with indiana state being involved. it made for a great scene/atmosphere. msg probably would've been packed for seton hall though.
i turned it off with indiana state was up 7 and turned it back on in time to see seton hall take the lead.
really looking forward to the women's final four tonight. i have to get up early to get down for nxt/wrestlemania tomorrow morning so we might not see the iowa game until sunday morning. bueckers plays with more toughness than clark so we'll see how that worked out.

Indiana State made some key mistakes down the stretch that cost them, but Indiana as a whole supports basketball, so without Indiana State it may not have been a sellout, but with a local team it was packed and it sounded great on tv. Seemed like a really fun atmosphere and a good showing for the NIT. That whole game was a game of runs and a good watch.

Both mens and womens tournament finished strong. South Carolina was always the team to beat. Iowa got them early but couldnt keep the momentum. Iowa and UConn was a fantastic game.
On the men's side Purdue and UConn really battled in the first half. Edey really got the best of Clingan and anyone else they threw at him. Heck, he dominated all game. The rest of purdue couldnt get much going and they couldnt stop UConn. The guards and movement from UConn was clinical. Back to back is tough to do, especially in an NIL landscape so major props to them.

UConn really were a joy to watch throughout the tournament. In an era of isoball, they always seemed to make the right cuts and the extra pass. Hopefully their dominance inspires other programs to play in that similar style, I get that not everyone is going to have studs at every position, but smart basketball is smart basketball.
