NTR (technically) - ACC Tournament
It was a thrill to watch NC State play and win 5 games in 5 days…this team played for the name on the front of the jersey rather than the name on the back. I hope Memphis can get back to that mindset next season.

Houston didn't seemed too concerned about playing. They will still get a #1 seed.

Not sure Penny can get it done. I have been a loyal supporter of him ever since the press conference introducing him as the new coach but watching some of these tournament games it is apparent Penny lacks intensity he had in his playing days.

Bruce Pearl was orchestrating every play all the way till the 2:00 minute mark and was still yelling and coaching leading by 20. I don't think a laid back coach can get the drive out of these "yungstas" as Larry Finch used to say. How can they expect for their players to play with fire when they don't have it on the sidelines?
I doubt the U of M would make a move and not sure any good coach would be willing to come to the AAC. Still love Penny but facts are facts IMO. I hope I'm wrong.

I dunno…. Sampson looked like a short fused time-bomb— writing the speech to his team in his head. His son was hangdog.

Weird game
Lots of them lately
