You don't typically see teams with losing records playing for the conference title except in the lower level D1 leagues.

The AAC is what it is and it ain't much.

usually because the **** teams in power conferences play cupcake schedules. ACC has only 4 teams with losing records, Big 12 2, Big East 3, etc etc etc

Those conferences are just better. You rarely (if ever)see a team with an overall losing record in one of those conferences playing for their auto bid while the trash conferences do have that happen.

Until this year that didn't happen in the AAC - now it has.

There are probably 8 SEC teams that would have won the AAC regular season title this year. Maybe more.

Memphis 8-2 last 2 years vs sec

If you love the sec, go post on their sites

BAM

Props to UAB and Andy Kennedy. Kennedy is the winningest UAB coach in 4 years. Can UAB win a game in the tourney?

FAU and UAB got screwed up by the Selection committee.. They can't wait to get rid of both teams right away lol

UConn is gonna destroy FAU this time around.. UAB is capable of beating Auburn if they beat San Diego St first though.. still, a tought *ss bracket.

FAU is about where they are suppose to be. They played that Arizona win to their advantage. UAB got a 12 which is what we got in 2011 when we won at El Paso

RE: AAC Conference Tournament Crowd
South Florida went 16-2 and was the AAC regular season champion. No NCAA bid and not even a seeded team in the NIT. They have to play at 17-15 UCF.

That pretty says it all.
