a few days ago the Coogs were saying that the #1 seed was yours to lose, now you're stating that you probably can't win against one of the bottom feeders?

WTH? I know you have some injuries, and UCF is a good defensive team, but they are very scoring challenged.

If UH doesn't win this one, then there is very little chance of beating KU this weekend.

This is for the freaking conference title... they better have some bump and grind left in them.

UCF knows us pretty well and we are not above thinking we can just walk in and win games easily. i thought we were going to lose this game but glad we didn't. i think this is the best team we have had since the phi slamma jamma days and im impressed.

We got a locker room full of winners. I know the postseason will ultimately define our season but I’m super proud of what this team was able to do in league play. Winning the best league in the country in our first year with a depleted roster is crazy! This has been Sampson’s best coaching job at UH imo. He’s truly the maestro.

BYU's play at the end of the game was a bit disappointing for the Red Cougars. I have to give Iowa St props for fighting back from a 15 point deficit in the second half.

Also if I haven't said it before, I will say it now "I LOVE BIG 12 BASKETBALL!"

and the league is just getting started.... the best is yet to come (future)

once teams get more acclimated (toughened up, and deeper), and we add the 4 corners schools, it's going to get a whole lot "better".

Congrats winning the regular season Year 1. You should build a statue for Sampson. Lucky for you he knows this neck of the woods.

ISU let us down by losing. So, we have to play WVU again in 3 days. First half we gave up 14 point lead to lead by only 7 points. Second half was all UC 56-27 to end 92-56.

We scored as many points in second half as WVU did in entire game.

We have not won back-to-back in B12 yet. Hopefully we can beat them again Tuesday.

Coogs closed it out the right way. Winning the league outright but getting swept by KU would’ve felt hollow. Beating them by 30 on the other hand… well that was just down right awesome. Go Coogs!

Congrats. Y'all had a helluva inaugural season in the B12. Samson has you guys rollin' and rockin'...

If UC can get past WVU again we get KU possibly without McCullars and Dickinson, separated shoulder in UH game. Popped back in but MRI scheduled back in KS.

Houston a very deserving Big XII Conference Champion in its first season in the league. BYU, Cincy and UCF each acquitted themselves well in their first year. Getting used to travel to new locations, different opponent home courts, style of play, officiating, etc. makes their respective performances even more impressive.

Hoping UH can get back to the Final Four and bring another national championship to the Big XII. I think we will see some surprises in both the Conference tournament and in the NCAA Tourney but betting against Houston and Kelvin Sampson is probably not a good idea.

Preciate it brother. Just happy we could come in and hold our own. Felt like all the newcomers did a good job in hoops. Much better results than football. Lol

Congrats to your Huskies as well. Gotta admit it’s kind of bitter sweet seeing UH/UConn #1 and #2. Makes think about what the American could’ve been. Best of luck in the tourney maybe we can meet in the final four!

Let's face it geographically UC, UCF and WVU do not belong in the Big 12. They make more sense in the ACC. If the administrators of all schools really gave a rat's arse about student's new conferences would be regionally created.

you're free to go.... nobody is holding an $86m exit fee knife to your throat.

and..... UA, ASU, CU and UU do belong in the B12?

let's face it, on face value, your statement is somewhere around sillyville.

Region doesn't matter anymore. Everyone fly's everywhere. Time zones are bit of an issue, but travel not so much. The only real reach is Orlando. And for UCF the ACC is a reach as well. Yeah UM, FSU, are pretty close, But CUSE, Pitt, BC are pretty big flights.

Look cowboy I know change is Inevitable in college sports with so many up and coming schools being added to FBS ( 131 )but the way it’s being handled is stupid
The big12 is looking to add more schools in an effort to collect as many leftovers that won’t make it in the b10 or sec, what we’re seeing is a split in progress that will lead to two FBS leagues imo, and Iam for it
In the meantime playing the big 12 is Exciting and I fully expect houston football will win the conference this season just like cougar basketball did let that sink in…
Houston golf needs to get back to dominating Oklahoma st golf, then I’ll be really happy

OSU unveils $325 Million athletics vision plan

OSU unveils upgrades to Karsten Creek as part of Athletics Vision Plan
Feb 27, 2023

Karsten Creek, the home of OSU golf, is due for major upgrades as part of OSU’s Athletics Vision Plan, per a press release.

“Course enhancement will include new irrigation, drainage, fairways, cart paths, and greens,” the release said.

“Bunkers and tee boxes will be adjusted to increase the difficulty of play and advance the skills of the golfers. The practice facility will also be renovated to improve the tee boxes, landing zones, short game area and practice putting greens.”

Most recently hosting the NCAA Division I National Championships in 2018, Karsten Creek is home to nine individual national champions, 11 team national championships, and several Big 12 Conference championships across both the men’s and women’s programs.

In addition to upgrades on the course and outdoor practice facilities, upgrades to the indoor practice facility, constructed in 1997, are planned as well.
