I think it would be more like $500M+.
I calculated it a couple of ways and came up with $370M as the most likely number.

I have been at $350 million as the ACC's bottom line number since before any lawsuit was filed.
--High enough to possibly deter others.
--Low enough to get rid of FSU and the lawsuit
Terry, are you hearing any rumblings of ND to the B1G - with a football deal similar to what they have with the ACC? (see green's post)
I don’t think ND would leave before 2030 but losing FSU and ND to the B10 would be the second best scenario next to losing only FSU.
Without FSU and ND, the ACC would be a 16 team all sports conference and will have a chance to raid the B12 in 2029 before potentially losing some schools to the SEC in 2030s.
Thing is, without FSU and ND, the ACC's TV ratings start to get dangerously close to the Big XII's. The ACC would still be slightly ahead as long as it has Clemson, UNC, Miami, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech, but it starts to get much closer...

Actually he is the only one saying he has sources.
I don't even bother watching, but does he have a source within the ACC?

What the ACC has that the Big 12 doesn't is a dedicated TV network.
I suppose the ACCN isn't necessarily about ratings but more about the number of subscribers. Many ACC fans aren't as zealous as SEC fans, but they may still subscribe to the ACCN just to watch their teams once every six months or so. Remember, ACC schools and fans tend to be a little more affluent.
ESPN may try to negotiate down the contract, but it won't drop a successful channel.
As long as ESPN is on the ACC's side, the ACC will have the upper hand.

What ever the number turns out to be........if Notre Dame stays put and ESPN makes some guarantees to increase the ACC payout so that the rest of the conference can stay together.......what difference does it make?
The ACC will have rid itself of the cancer that Florida State is and be offered a path to a future as a conference.

The ACC will be able to function much better as a conference once the 'Noles are gone.
If FSU is lucky enough to be picked up by either the B1G or the SEC, neither of those conferences will tolerate the **** that has been coming out of Tallahassee for the last 20 years or so and FSU will have to see how it feels to be just a middle of the pack program in a super league.

They'll be no need for unhappiness to emanate from Tallahassee if FSU is in a conference that fits. And we're not at the moment, the ACC has never been a fit. Obviously you agree since you state that "[t]he ACC will be able to function much better as a conference once the 'Noles are gone." We're incompatible and we don't value the same things or want the same things. There is some common ground though, it is in all of our best interests that a reasonable divorce be worked out, agreed to and this farce of a marriage ended as soon as possible.

That's why all of the conference members (including Notre Dame) signed a pre-nuptial agreement.
