RE: Bryan Ellis
It’s disturbing that multiple coaches are making similar moves this offseason. We are already playing at a severe disadvantage, we can’t be losing our coordinators for position coaches at p4 schools.

It's really p2, and not just coordinator position. Some head coaches are taking p2 staff jobs.

Georgia State's and Troy's HC's

All of these SBC coaches taking title downgrades to get out of that conference, but we all know they're the premier non-power group.

Georgia State's and Troy's HC's

Troy's HC made a move up, to Tulane's HC job.

USA's HC is now the DC and UAT.

And a better chance of stepping up to a P5 HC job from success there.

RE: Bryan Ellis
I’m not quite sure the timing was right for Bryan, although I think he’s a good coach. I see UAT as a sinking ship without enough life rafts. I don’t see them having enough money to pay coaches & pay the NIL money needed to compete with Texas & Texas A&M’s money. Course, I’ve seen Bammers online saying they need to quit tithing to have enough money to pay the players, and that’s about what it’s going to take unless it starts to get regulated. I could be wrong about UAT, but I hope not.
