I like Akron, Ball, Western and Toledo to out perform that number.

Toledos defense will be too good to go 8-4 IMO. Three toughest MAC games at home... NIU coming off the rare bowl win is a wildcard for their offseason mentality.

NIU has a tough non-conference with two top 25 teams in Notre Dame and NC State. Both of which reloaded with very good and very experienced transfer QBs. I expect us to lose both games, especially when we have no legit starting QB and didn't even bother trying to get an experienced FCS or talented FBS transfer at QB. I also don't have much faith in our head coach. I expect no better than a 6-6 season but wouldn't be surprised if we finish worse than that.

I trust Coach Creighton and his staff to produce consistent results for EMU to be in the top 1/4 of the conference. We have some talented transfers coming into EMU.
