Match-ups set by NET a couple weeks back. ULM had the 2nd best NET then after having played a very tough OOC season, but they lost their last 3 games since then.

Defense sparked the offense. Good W for the Rockets

I thought ULM was different than any teams we face in the MAC. They had a lot of quick leapers, which made them hard to rebound against. The Rockets had their moments of looking shaky, but still a good win against a team that would probably be the third best in our conference.

I was in and out but thought I saw her take at least three charges? A couple during our big Q3 run, IIRC. And a nice 12 foot J that helped. I was impressed.

The MAC went 5-6 today on its home court against the Sun Belt. Ball State plays James Madison tomorrow. Eastern Michigan, Miami, Northern Illinois, and Buffalo won along with the Rockets.

Yeah, by "beaten up" I meant she was physically taking a beating taking charges and fighting for rebounds, not that players were outplaying her.

I knew that-I was concurring. Her contribution was much larger than the box score showed.

Ball State made the MAC 6-6 with a 15 point win over JMU, but for a while there it looked like it might be one of the most epic collapses in history. After BSU led by as much as 26, and still up 21 to start Q4, JMU went to an aggressive press and BSU turned the ball over something like 8 of the 1st 9 possessions of the quarter, barely ever getting the ball across half court. JMU cut the lead to 9, only about half-way thru the quarter, but could not sustain the momentum to complete the comeback.

Becki had a hard fall in the 4th landing on her back and stayed down for a while, but eventually came back in.

On the injury front, Bischoff went down with about 90 seconds to go and limped off the court with an ankle injury.
