KSU downs UB easily. Akron beats Toledo by throwing everything in the hoop in the first half and surviving a rock fight in the 2nd half. Annoying refereeing putting the best players on each team in foul trouble and missing most judgement calls on the night. These are the top 2 teams in their own gym in the conference. Not the separation the lady's side has. Fun game for TV if you like m&ms.

The amount of fouls they call in college basketball is ridiculous. The whistle is just always in their mouth ready to go at any little thing.

True, but I'm always baffled by some of the touch fouls that a player barely gets touched on that are called while they don't call something else that has much more blatant contact and just as much affect or more on the play.

Officiating on the whole has been bad this year. I thought there was supposed to be an emphasis on getting flopping out of the game? Instead, they call more charges than ever. Just because the offensive guy has his arm in a position that appears to be extended, doesn't mean he's able to or is shoving the guy 10 feet across the floor! The experienced defenders are just feeling that arm and then are flopping and the refs buy it about 99% of the time.

And the BG-CMU game like an NBA game. I can't remember the last time I saw so many missed travelling calls. At least it was consistently bad on both teams!
