I would say next to no chance of this. Memphis has had half their team out with short term injuries, which is why they brought Trey in to begin with. He has performed well enough, but Memphis isn't a good long term fit for him.

I think Trey will eventually stick with a team. There is a need for big men who can play the role like he can do.

Memphis traded one of their better bigs to the Celtics today for a couple of 2nd round picks. He may stick around after all.

Jemison played 15 minutes last night against the Bulls, with 0 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

But the good news is, he signed a two-way contract with Memphis for the rest of the season. As someone mentioned, the Grizzlies recently traded veteran center Steven Adams (who had been injured and hadn't played all season) as well as another of their bigs, Xavier Tillman. So he certainly has an opportunity.

nah. It's Jimmershawn with at least the first two rows of people surrounding him covered in spit as he says it.

We may also want to thank Lofton for getting released from the Grizzlies and going to the 76ers. Trey is basically taking his spot in that 2-way.
I would love to see them battle it out again in an NBA game.

Because he is on a two-way contract, the Grizzlies are likely holding him out to preserve his allotted active games in the NBA. Two-way players signed prior to the season can be active for up to 50 games with their NBA teams, but because he wasn't signed to his contract until February -- a little more than halfway through the season -- he looks like he'll be eligible to play in only about 23 or 24 games for Memphis before he would have to be converted to a standard contract.

They are doing the same thing with Scottie Pippen, Jr., who is also on a two-way contract. He has been starting one game, then being inactive in the next. Crazy.

They’ve been doing the same thing with Gilyard at well. It’s pretty wild to see an nba team playing all these fringe level players so often.
