it seems like a natural game to me. Troy used to play Alabama State some back in Troy's FCS days, if I recall. Alabama A&M is on the outskirts of Huntsville, so that's looks like a really easy road trip for UNA and AAMU!! Alabama State isn't too bad of a road trip to Montgomery, IMO. Just curious on this.

UNA played Alabama A&M in 2018 and 2019.

Sadly, the last game between the Lions and the Bulldogs had some controversy with racial overtones. When UNA was D2, they played Miles often as UNA grads were coaching there. They faced off with Tuskegee several times as a former Lions coach was at the helm. UNA and A&M have a long series history (mostly in D2) but I don’t think the game will be renewed as long as Maynor is there coach of the Bulldogs. The two meet annually in most all other sports.
