Final four for RJ Greer out of Dayton. Looks like a high 3/low 4 star recruit depending on where you look.

Four B10 schools (by '25) and UC. An impressive final five. We know this is the level of talent that UC will need to compete in the B12. If West continues to get his share of players such as Hannah, it bodes well.

It's oversimplifying matters to write this but I will anyway. UC still needs guys who can fill the hoop. In conference game losses this year, an incremental made layup, free throw or three pointer could have turned the tide in most every one of those games and B12 opponents seemed to have guys who deliver those more consistently than the 'Cats. I believe Wes will get us there, but it's tough watching some nights this season.

Apparently, the Drew Adams connection is serving Wes well as UC picks up Connor Hickman from Bradley in the portal. Hickman's final two schools were reportedly Cincy and Indiana. Funny part is Hickman is from Bloomington and chose UC, much to the chagrin of the Hoosier faithful. That Indiana fans are stunned by this speaks to how clueless they are these days. Their collective self-awareness about IU basketball in 2024 is breathtaking as Hickman chooses another historically elite program competing in the Big 12.

To me, Hickman fills the need that C.J. was meant to last season before injuries derailed his playing time. He's a strong 3 point shooter which this UC team badly needs to complement Simas and company. Now if Wes gets a big who can help out immediately, next season looks like fun.

It sounds like IU will be ok.
I just saw an announcement on ESPN that the #1 player in the transfer portal, ex-Arizona center Oumar Ballo, has committed to IU.
