EMU making the MAC proud

That was probably the best hit EMU had all day.

That's disgusting. I hope the NCAA and the local authorities come at that kid with the same intensity as Toledo did when Jamaal Bass love tapped a Toledo band member.

This has no place in sports at a moment like this. I hope they make an example out of him.

RE: EMU making the MAC proud
If that was my team, and he was my athlete, that would be the last thing that athlete would ever do as a member of my program. He should be dismissed immediately, there's no reason for that to happen on the Football field. You lost, you lost big, no reason whatsoever to go throwing suckerpunches on the field like that. I'm not surprised yesterday that Coach Hammock got his athletes off the field after the win yesterday, because I feel like there would have been a brawl initiated by Arkansas State, so good on getting our athletes off after what happened for us against CMU. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes as I like to say. Zero reason whatsoever for there to be post-game brawls

Not only is it a bad team, it’s a group of scummy players led by a hands-off, checked-out coach. We deserve every single word of negative press and scorn.

That’s unfortunate, Bovine. I thought Creighton has done a good job. What happened with him?

RE: EMU making the MAC proud
EMU absolutely got boat-raced, but, keep in mind, that was one, individual EMU player who made an extremely poor decision. It was not like any other EMU player was actively involved. I am not sure blaming the entire incident on the entirety of EMU, or the football team, is appropriate or fair.

Best guess is that he was hoping to land another gig by now and has been at EMU for a while.

Yep. I think he’s haunted by the fact that his former OC (DeBoer) landed his dream job (UW) while he’s still stuck with us.

Wow, that's insane. That'll work a number on your self esteem.

I mean if you are somewhat successful at a school that hasn’t had much success like EMU, you kinda wonder why he hasn’t gotten a chance Elsewhere.

Sean Lewis, Dave clawson, babers(he’ll be a head coach again soon is my guess), doeren, Campbell, liepold, all guys with a lot less time at the schools and moved on to greener pastures and $$.

RE: EMU making the MAC proud
Leave it to EMU to actually put together a decent season, and still find a way to embarrass the conference.
