Watched future B12 Utah lose to Northwestern 14-7

Former Cincy QB Ben Bryant was star of the game with 2 TD passes and a tough run to lead to run out of clock. Announcers said he loved Cincy but was run out of town by Sadderfield in favor duo threat of Emory Jones. NW finished 8-5 and Emory Jones 3-9.

In the short term a good coach adjusts his system to the talent, then long term recruits his type of talent. Sadderfield is not a good coach and he will prove it over time.

freaking 5-7 Minnysota is playing in a bowl game today.... WTH?

certainly they could have found some team more deserving than that.

maybe they should start inviting CFP teams to play in a bowl if we can't get enough D1A teams to have a .500 record.

Yeah, I got that, which is why I suggested a D1AA school... but even at that, they must be better 5-7 teams than Minnysota.

TCU is 5-7 for gosh sakes, as is BYU (for examples)

Not too few winning teams, but too many games. There should be no games in north unless an indoor stadium. So end Fenway Bowl, Yankee Stadium Bowl, Potato Bowl in Boise, plus any that do not have attendance average of 20,000 over 3 years.

There is not such thing as too many games.... leave the kids alone and let them play.

If you don't like those games, then don't watch or don't go.

There are too many benefits to the schools, their programs, the players and families, and the fans to cancel or reduce games based on your whim, and baseless limits.

While I don't disagree, ESPN likes the bowl games too much. They still bring eyes to the TV. They aren't going away any time soon.
