I honestly don't see anything in his resume that jumps out at me...

Exactly.. Hall's brining in more buddies and buddies of buddies.. That's why I'm saying 8 wins or he needs to be gone.

Well, let's be honest.... Who want's to take the job knowing that the HC could be in his last year and fired. I'm not very optimistic for next year, but I sure hope I'm wrong.

He owes us for one jelly donut by making big promises and not delivering.

When I saw Bignell was a DC at an FCS school it didn't bother me, as that's where a young talented motivated coach can be found. And there's going to be few successful DC at the FBS level that would consider USM. But when I saw he was at Notre Dame the same time Long was there, that was cringe. So we know that's the real reason he was hired.

I'll still give him a chance. You never know...maybe Bignell will turn out to be good. It's a make or break promotion for him. If he does well he could have a nice future coaching at an elevated FBS level. If he bombs, he will fall back to being a position coach or maybe a DC again at the FCS level.

Hopefully he can figure out why our defense with talented players was scored on so easily by so many opponents. We should have had an 8-4 record this past season based on 2022 and so many returning players. That's all on Will Hall.
