2023 Football postseason honors
Players from Texas WAC member schools were named as members of the 2023 Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas Non-FBS team.

Abilene Christian's Patrick Jolly was named Defensive Back of the Year. Cirby Coheley was named as a 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Defense member. Kyle Ramsey was named as a 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Specialist.

Stephen F. Austin's Max Quick and Chase Ruiz were named as 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Specialists.

Tarleton's Josh Griffis was named as a 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Defense member. Kayvon Britten was named as a 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Offense member. Deangelo Rosemond was named as a 2023 All-Texas Non-FBS Specialist.

Ramsey is our field goal kicker and maybe a future pro kicker -- he is really good. I hope he returns for his last year.

This isn't UAC related, but a quick shout out to our sister school Harding, from little 'ol Searcy AR. They just won their first National Championship today, DII final against Colorado School of Mines: 38-7. Harding runs the flexbone offense. Today, they ran for over 500 yards. For the season, they just surpassed 6000+ rushing yards. No other school, at any NCAA level has ever done that. Their defense has been out of sight as well. I know us ACU fans are saying that we are happy we didn't play them this year. They would have beaten many FCS teams.

Just saw the official NCAA Division II announcement from yesterday. Harding's single season 6,160 rushing yards set an all time collegiate rushing record. That's an astounding stat regardless of division or conference...
